Cassandra in Wonderland

So I haven’t done one of these in a while so I figured that I’d start again. It may not be everyday, hell it may not be every month but I am going to try to post as much as I can. So here we go; Daily Confession: I have to work tomorrow and I absolutely HATE my job. I used to love working there (I work in a nursing home) I used to love my co-workers and interacting with my residents. Although I love my residents I HATE the job and the people I work with/for. I can’t stand going into work, I dread it and its seriously the worst 8hrs ever. I can’t wait until after August, after I work up the ETO time to go to Connecticut. Once I’ve got the money and the trip all together. After I get back…I’ll be searching for new employment.

Listen Up;

I sit here talking to my girlfriend wondering why some people in this country don’t want us to marry. Would marrying the person that I love more then anything somehow hurt you? No, I thought not. I don’t vote on whether or not you should be married, so why should you? The announcement of President Barack Obama saying that “same sex couples should be allowed to marry” does not stop our fight. It does not stop the prejudices that we as gay American’s go through everyday. I think of my beautiful girlfriend and our future together and I vow not to stop fighting and neither should you, I’m not going to stop until I can marry the woman I love in every state in this country. STAND UP! STAND UP AND FIGHT, LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!

The most amazing girlfriend in the entire world. I don’t know what I could do without her. & its days like today when I miss her the most. I need her to be here in my arms. 500 miles is so long when I need her this bad. The distance is killing me. All i want to do is wrap her in my arms and hold her tight. I cannot wait until August when I get on that train to see her. &&& I simply cannot wait until we finally living together in our own apartment. Its thinking of those things, that get me through. Until then, we have our texting and long night conversations. I love you Angeleena. <3
